Workshop 2 - Sustainability Tickets - 15.03.2021
In this the second workshop, which will again be run by our consultants Owen Griffiths and Rhian Jones, we will be thinking about the future of the shop through the lens of Sustainability and starting with the following questions:
What does the word ‘sustainable’ mean to you?
How can the SiopNEWydd be a model of sustainability?
So come to the workshop and bring your ideas about sustainability and the SiopNEWydd.
Workshop 1 - Community Tickets - 08.03.2021
Over the last few years we've seen the shop become a community hub, organised and staffed by volunteers to enable this important rural service to continue and thrive. The next chapter of the shop is now about to begin. In 2023 we will be leaving the current premises as we embark on a new build project, just a little way down the road. This will be an ambitious new building which will - we hope be much more than a village shop, servicing the community in many ways. In order for this to work we need your help -your ideas and vision.

Meet the Architects
March is going to be a busy month on the SiopNEWydd project! This is YOUR chance to have YOUR say and YOUR views are really important to the Project Team and the overall success of the project. So PLEASE participate. 1st March 1800 on zoom - Consultation Meeting for the Community with a presentation from the Architects and Consultants. An invitation to attend will be posted nearer the time.
During March 2021: IN PERSON - the Consultants will be visiting the Siop in person and posting a range of questions on a blackboard at the Siop where you can answer on cards and pop them into the ideas box.
ON-LINE - you will see these questions on Facebook with links to a new website for you to answer questions online.
